Who
Are IIRR Alumni?
Objectives
of IIRR's Alumni Affairs
To
- facilitate networking among
Alumni, and between IIRR and its Alumni.
- support continuous sharing and
exchange on trends, issues and innovative approaches to people-centered
development.
- serve as a communication channel
to explore possible areas of collaboration.
- encourage alumni to become partners
in people-centered and participatory development initiatives, and
- document innovative experiences
of IIRR Alumni and their organizations.
Privileges
of an IIRR Alumni
- 10 percent
discount on fee to IIRR courses, conferences and seminars.
- 15 percent
discount on IIRR publications. (does not apply to shipping costs).
- 10 percent
discount on the fee for the use of the Yen
Center conference facilities and services.
- Updates on
IIRR activities and IIRR Alumni affairs through information exchanges.
Reaching Development
Workers
- You may contribute
to the IIRR alumni fund. Contributions support continuous learning
activities of the IIRR Alumni, such as follow-up meetings, newsletters,
and workshops/conferences.
- Share your
time and expertise by documenting lessons, insights or success stories
(or failures) based on your development work experiences. Participate
as a facilitator
or organizer of alumni meetings in your location.
- Give comments
to the alumni section of the web page.
- Support the
Yen fellowship fund by making financial contributions. During the
conduct of the course, participants may make a minimum $25 contribution
to the fund. For the small contribution, they will receive a Yen
fellowship certificate which entitles them to a 10% discount on
the fee of an IIRR course. The certificate is transferable to other
colleagues with whom you work.
