Sustainable Agriculture Training of Trainers

This is a three-week course designed for training managers, training program coordinators, human resources director, and rural development practitioners and specialists who are responsible for training. The course focuses on theories and practices related to training needs analysis (TNA), training program designing and management, and monitoring and evaluation that are applicable to development organizations.  It is an output-oriented training, wherein participants perform TNA through a four-day field exercise, design a training program and a training course, and facilitate a chosen session.  The course itself is a demonstration of participatory methodologies and techniques.   An action planning at the end of the course allows participants to reflect on how they can integrate into their work and organizations, the learning they have gained from the course. Emphasis is likewise given to bringing about desired changes in trainer’s behaviors and attitudes.
