Arlita Balmes Rico, a finance officer at the Regional Center for Asia, has been with the institute for more than twenty five years. She works closely with the HQ Chief Accountant in the implementation of financial management systems and transactions consistent with the established policies, procedures and control systems. She performs specific activities and transactions related to general accounting, cash management, and preparation and monitoring of budget and project financial reports.
Rico has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and she is a Filipino by nationality.
