Isaac’s passion is to provide services that contribute to the promotion of rights of the marginalized particularly youth, children and women through facilitation of strategic planning processes, promotion of education, capacity building and training for local institutions working in the areas of human rights and HIV/AIDS prevention and mitigation to enhance national and community development.
He has management experience in educational institutions and community development programmes and has extensive training in organizational development, strategic planning, resource mobilization, leadership and governance, and advocacy
Isaac joins IIRR with over 14 years experience in implementing programmes on gender based violence prevention, food security, economic empowerment and pastoralist education. Before joining us, Isaac was a Programme Manager with Mara Foundation and before that Programme Manager with Empower Children and Communities against Abuse (ECCA) from 2006 to 2010 and a Director for the Education Program with Children’s Welfare Mission, Uganda from 2001 to 2005 implementing both formal and informal skills training for youth, along with developing and managing programmes. He has also taught for several years.
Isaac holds a Masters Degree in Education Management and Planning, a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management and a Bachelors of Education degree.
