Victor Kelachukwu Igbokwe is a graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (Nigeria) and Master of Arts in Human Rights and Conflict Management (Italy). Disaster Risk Reduction Courses (World Bank Institute)
He is a determined, polished and self motivated person with a bright and good team spirit which makes him able to adapt and work harmoniously in multi- cultural/multi- ethnic setting to achieve set objectives.
Between 2008 and 2011, Victor worked as a Project officer (Peace Building and Conflict Management) with YARAC Centre in Nigeria in partnership with Action Aid Nigeria where he implemented an integrated development and community driven program using the Rights Based Approach focusing on Women and children’s rights whilst gaining practical experience in crisis prone areas.
Victor has over time built skills in training in Conflict transformation, Leadership and Governance, Environment, Research and Advocacy, Participatory Monitory and Evaluation, Participatory Methodologies and strategic planning techniques.
