The Philippines
Since 1960, IIRR has maintained a presence in the Philippines at its Yen Center Campus in Silang, Cavite, approximately 40 kilometers south of Manila. IIRR’s Regional Center for Asia is also located at the Yen Center. The Regional Center for Asia coordinates its Applied Learning Courses, International Training, Publications and Technical Services from The Philippines. The Yen Center is also host to a museum dedicated to the founder of IIRR, Dr. James Y.C. Yen and serves as a learning laboratory for our agricultural work.
